Just A Girl Who's Obsessed With Animals
Hi! I'm Mar, and I opened Unheavenly Creatures in late 2020. I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been obsessed with animals and their care for as far back as I can remember.

I fell in love with reptiles at a very young age, and used to chase my shrieking mother around the yard with snakes and lizards that I would find in the garden.

Naturally, I pursued a career in Veterinary Medicine which only deepened my love for all living creatures (except hamsters....eww). My success in my career allowed me to finally delve into my interest in reptiles, and I acquired my founding Ball Pythons.

Owning snakes then gave me the perfect excuse to dive headfirst into operating a rattery. That being said, we DO breed rats both for pets and for feeders. If this is not something you're comfortable with, then Unheavenly Creatures is not the rattery for you.
